How to make a break, but only on part of the view

Hello

I have to make a cassur e on a view but only on part not on the whole length?

Is this possible?

Hello

No, I don't think that's possible, sorry!

But perhaps an illustrative image would be more explicit.

An image of what you want will help you better understand what you are looking for

show us via a diagram, a sketch the part you want to break

The purpose of a break in a drawing is to reduce the size

and in general it is on an identical element on both sides of this said break

Want to make a partial cut?

On Solidworks?

Thus? (see image)

Edit: I just understood, but how do you want to make a half break? The top will be cut, and the bottom won't? it will make a really weird view:p

I don't think so either. Finally, the breakout tool is relatively limited.

Depending on your needs, you may be able to create a 3D-level configuration by placing the cutout as you wish. But I think that we can only go through hacking.

Hello, I had asked a question like this a month ago, and I confirm, it's not possible, the breaks are made along their entire length, I haven't found any way to stop them in one place...

EDIT: I found my question, for those who don't know what we're talking about, see the last message on page 1 (with the screenshot)

The best thing to do is to put your eyesight 2 times, to crop one in one place, and one in the other place, then to make 1 different break per part.

That's it! :p

I sometimes do the same as Bart.

On the other hand, it's a bit of a hassle to align everything when you make a break at an angle.
