Hello

Why write in capital letters?

Regarding your question, simply retrieve the XML files managing the configuration of SmartProperties on your old computer.

I apologize for writing in capital letters but  I scream everything in capital letters so sorry if I offended someone how do we recover the xml  I am not a computer specialist

I have on the new machine my sharing folder in which I have my old properties of the old machine

How to use it instead of the new one

Re

In smartproperties, you just have to set the options to tell it which xml to use.

The xml is the file that saves all your settings. In your shared folder, do you see an XML?

If so, this is the file you should point to!

Hello

There is a My CAd Tools utility provided for this purpose: "Wizard to copy settings".

See attachment.

On your new machine, restart the same utility and then the "Restore" function.

The solution of @remrem is the good solution.

More "barbaric", you can go to:

C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Local\Axemble

Note: you have to display the hidden folders to see the "AppData" directory.

and you copy the folder "MyCADtools xxxx" (xxxx=version of mycadtools).

To be able to retrieve the settings of smatproperties you have to do it manually

thank you all for your answers

Kind regards
