I am a student at Kedge Business School in a management school in Master 1 year. I am currently working on a group project in which he asked us to provide consulting assistance to industrial companies (this is a fictitious exercise, but it is still fascinating!) I decided to choose the type of industrial companies working in the conception, design and manufacture of parts, components and other products from advanced technology (aeronautics, automated, space, nuclear, medical machining etc...
I would like to study and bring (maybe!) advice whether it is in terms of equipment, work environment, ways of working or even the interactions between people working at this level of the company. I have managed to find a large amount of information on how and what CAD/CAM and CAM/CAM work and are, however I cannot find (for many companies) which CAD and CAM they work with. Indeed, some companies such as Technoplus Industries have published on their websites which programs are used in their design and manufacture, but this is not the case for everyone.
How can I get this kind of information (CAD and CAM used by companies in the sector(s) detailed above)?
I want to tell you... by asking companies? They will be the best able to answer you.
Your question is basically like saying "how do I know which word processing software my neighbor is working with". If you don't ask him, it's very complicated to know just by looking at his final work;)
