Communication via the Internet

Hello

more and more I try to do project reviews on the internet using the Team viewer software for screen sharing and Skype for discussion. But when I use both at the same time it doesn't work very well.

Does anyone use other software (free :-) ) to do this work which avoids a lot of travel and is above all a time saver.

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards.

Fred.

Hello, There is Lync but it's not free, however you can try the free version:

Hello

It's possible with Google Chat (formerly Talk, now Hang Out), a gmail address is enough:

Otherwise here is a list of 8 softwares:

I only tested Mikogo, from what I remember, it didn't work too badly.

Have a nice day.

On this link, they compare (or rather offer) 15 software:

And this is more recent than the other link (2012 vs. 2009).

Hello all,

I think like L.prieur that the best is indeed Google + with its hangouts

Screen sharing, video+sound, Remote control, etc... It's a bit like GoToAssist (for a fee).

It should also be noted that Google offers 15 GB of free storage space with Google Drive, with PC to Web synchronization.

I also take this opportunity to tell you that Lynkoa is on Google +

Hello

I too will follow this post, on the other hand would it be possible to make a tutorial after this post so that we can make this communication by internet?

Thank you

Hello

Personally, in my company, we use WEBEX in France and internationally.

Very complete with the addition of large file transfer.

for those of you who would be interested in WEBEX please contact me by PM (private message) communicating your availability and your email address.

I would invite you to an online meeting

There is even a portable version of UltraVNC.

Hello

One of the small problems that we rarely think about is the speed of the line at the time of meetings

in my case I use Skype or FaceTime for visio and to limit the sending of files I have a seagate NAS which in my network appears as an external Disc and for the client as a web page on which he downloads the data

I have better results like that than with a cloud X

What I'm trying to explain is that if I transfer a file to a remote server my TX bandwidth takes the step of my RX d or big squares in skype so by depositing on my nas my client pumps it at a rate limited by the hard Disc which does not hinder the communication

advantage is that I don't have a file lying around on the web and once unplugged from the network it doesn't appear to anyone anymore

Hello

I don't see why you use two software when you can do everything directly under Team Viewer.
