You can use the display states / configurations...

When creating your groove, you used an oblong for material removal. You can use the point from the center of the oblong sketch for the constraint.

I already saw in an old Lynkoa tutorial that you can modify Property Manager settings (put default checkboxes, I think).

It was a manipulation to be done at the registry level.

I'm trying to find the info.

I think that's the kind of thing you need.
