Tangent or perpendicularity stresses that jump (reverse.......)

Hello

I have geometric constraints that change settings when the error is made, it is put on the second square or vice versa.
Have you ever encountered this problem in advance, thank you.
This problem occurs on an O-ring that is constrained tangent to the back of his throat, and then it is tangent but outside the throat... not funny...
By blocking with containing planes it avoids the problem.
Kind regards.

Is this a question?

I avoid as much as possible the constraints of tangencies which tend to go into peanuts especially if there are other constraints or if you are doing kinematics
For an O-ring I make an axis axis constraint and then a Plane back groove constraint.

Hello Zozo_mp,

I'm reassured, I'm not the only one affected.
I will follow the advice axis combined with the back of the throat plan. Thank you.
Kind regards.

Hi @spectrum

In your O-ring sketch, put dots at the tops.
A small constraint point of the sketch/surface in addition to the coaxiality with the axis of revolution of the torus and no more hassles:

Hello Froussel,
Thanks for the tip, it's great!
Have a good end of the day.
