Hello
I have a problem with the quick constraints menu in assemblies:
When I select my faces, the menu appears and I select a type of constraints. The second menu appears but disappears immediately afterwards and I can't change the orientation of the constraint or lock a rotation, for example.
Do you know how to keep this second menu active?
Hello @loigdalais
This comes from the fact that you move the cursor beyond a certain limit.
If you hold the cursor over the choices provided, no problem.
Personally I select the first area to constrain ==> CTRL ===> select the second area to constrain ===> release CTRL.
Note that for some mysterious reason sometimes the CTRL key remains inactive in large assemblies.
I then use SHIFT M which allows me not to go through the menus to put the constraints. SHIFT M will solve your problem if you need to move the cursor beyond the choices display area
Kind regards

Hello @Zozo_mp,
I proceed in the same way to select my constrained surfaces, but I don't move after clicking on the desired constrain. The second menu appears very quickly without me moving my cursor.
Damned!
So there " Tongue at the cat "
Can you make a mini video?
Kind regards

We see the second menu appear after each addition of constraints but disappears immediately. I didn't move my mouse or click anything. Option pb of the " automatically validate constraint " style???
(Hyperstatic but that's for example )

Ben! Uh! For me what we see is the normal operation with the CTRL key
On the other hand, if you go through the " Constraint " menu (Shift M for me) then you can select the " multiple constraints " mode. In this case you can make several constraints without closing the selection window.
Tell us if this second solution meets your needs!
Kind regards

Hello
In the >Customize Option menu
In the tab ‹ ‹ Toolbar › › there is the checkmark ‹ ‹ show quick constraints › ›

Hello
I think it's set up that way otherwise SW wouldn't display these menus. On the other hand, I have a bit of the same problem of random or transient appearance which forces you to go through the constraints menu.

The second menu is the one that appears on the right with all the constraints?
Because if that's the case... I just saw that it does it at home too!
Afterwards, in general, I don't go through this thing. I click on the " constraint " paperclip to access it directly.
The second menu usually displays the reversal of the direction of the constraint and for coaxialities it allows you to block the rotation.
Okay I have: thank you @d.donval for putting me on the track. The show quick constraints checkbox was checked, but not the following checkmark: Show ok button (although I never used it on the pro versions).
Pb solved thank you all
