Hello
Thanks to you, I'm progressing on solidworks. I have already booked 8 days of training for the month of March.
However, I still have slight shortcomings... (huge)
I drew a sheet metal tray. However, for reasons of size and bending capacity, it is impossible for me to make all the folds in a single sheet.
What is the solution for modifying a pli in junction?
Thank you

Hello
For the optimization of the material and manipulation during folding I would separate the small walls and have them welded and for the Solidworks part you had to use the sheet metal folded on edge function to make your folds, you just have to edit the function and delete these two edges. Then you do the side part in another room. From these two pieces you can make an assembly to recreate your piece.

Hello
The solution of ac cobra 427 is the most rational in your case.
OK. I'm not against working this way. However, how do you make sure that the parts are adjusted in the best way?
In my (beginner's) mind, it's easier to work on a multi-body part.
I draw the walls with the dimensions taken on site and I adapt everything else accordingly. If I design several parts and then group them together in an assembly, I don't dare to imagine the headache so that everything is adjusted in the end
If you are making an assembly, you will just have to right-click on the part to be adjusted and you choose edit and there you can work adapting your part in relation to the other.
