Hello
In Solidworks 2017, from an assembly, I would like to copy into a part A a volume that is in a room B, and to be found in my room A this volume in the same location as if it were in the assembly.
Is this possible?
Thank you

Hello
I don't really understand the request
if we integrate a part B into another room named A
the part named A will no longer be a room named A but a room (A+B)
Assembly or not
A few images or files will be ideal to be able to answer correctly

Hello
If I understood the request correctly, I have to open part A, go to Insert ==> Room ==> Select room B ==> Check the box "With move/copy function".
If part B has already been drawn in position and not on the origin, there is no need for this last step.
Thank you for the answers,
I tried the insertion without "Move/Copy" and indeed the two origins merge.
Not having the same origins from the start, the inserted part is not in the right place.
To make my question simpler, it is a question of editing a part from an assembly and doing the "offset surface" function on the surface of another part, but instead of a surface it would be a body.
Thank you

Hello
I confirm @ ludo.mai's solution.+ 1
if it checks the "With move/copy function". of checked, all that remains is to set constraints to place the parts. Be careful, I personally find that the installation of constrained part in room is less pleasant than part in assembly.
may the force be with you.
