Copy a property from a part's Customize tab, into the Customize tab property of its drawing

Hello

I created a properties form using the editor  to fill in the properties of my part.

These properties are used to fill the drawing block (using $PRPSHEET....)

I'd like to copy a property from the Part's Customize (Description) tab, into the Customize tab property  of its drawing, so that I can display that property in the explorer.

Is it possible without macro and of course without copy/paste?

Thank you

Hello

Why not link the property of the MPE to that of the part. That way, when you fill in or modify the room's one, the MEP's will automatically follow...

Yes @ac cobra 427, it's the logical sense to assign the property and then retrieve the property in a cartridge note.

Yes, but that's already been done. I want a property in the drawing that matches the property of the part to display it in windows explorer (I don't have a PDM)

I'm just looking for a way to do it automatically, which will save me from copy/paste or going through a macro, but it doesn't seem possible to me

I've added a screenshot to make it clearer

It seems impossible to me:
Functionally speaking from the SW point of view, even if it will never be (but who knows the future) the case in your company, several models can be called up in a drawing. So how would SW know which model to use?

Unfortunately I believe that copy-paste/re-entry is the solution.

For the problem of several models on the same drawing, we don't ask the question about the properties displayed in the title block of a drawing, in fact in the properties of the drawing there is the option "use custom property values for the model shown in " + drop-down list

I'm going to settle for a copy and paste

Thank you anyway

Hello

If you have the myCADtools tools, you can with SmartProperties. A SmartProperties property type allows you to copy the property of the 3D into the drawing during validation.

I don't have smart properties but it looks interesting
