Weld seams

Hello my friends,

I would like to know how to insert weld seams into assemblies.

Thank you

Hello

Go to Insertion/Assembly Function/Weld Seam...

The interface is different from the one for parts.

Hello, what software is it for?

See this tutorial more meaningful than any explanations

Hello

@Benoit.LF, the welding interface is the same between part and assembly since SW 2013.

@Coyote

Indeed, unless, like me, we will still search for "Fillet weld seam" and not "Weld seam" in Insertion/Welded construction!

HS: "Fillet weld seam" is going to disappear in the future?

Sorry.PL it's for Solidworks 2012.

Thank you

Thank you Benoit. LF except that the solder function does not appear in the build tree, I only have the solder symbol on the assembly.

The solder "functions" appear in a folder at the top of the tree, in a folder called "Solder Folder".

If your concern is that you don't see the bead representation, do Display/Weld Seam.

Or even uncheck Show/Hide all types if this option is active.

Even on the assembly I don't have visible cords.

Precisely, have you tried what I indicated: In the assembly, go to Display/Weld seam and make sure that "Hide all types" is not checked.
