Correcting error SW2022

Hello

I have an error and I would like to know what it corresponds to

Sldavealldlgu:0000A6BF

Can someone give me a lead?

Thanks in advance

In what context does this error message occur?

Hello;

Subject to having more context:

I imagine you're referring to: sldsavealldlgu.dll. (and not sldavealldlgu.dll)

It seems to be a DLL-related error (misregistered or corrupted).

  • A common approach for this type of error is to re-register the affected DLL via the command regsvr32 in the command prompt.
    => regsrv32 " C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\sldsavealldlgu.dll "

Or to proceed with a " Repair " of the affected software.

Hello @Maclane

Unfortunately, I can't do anything, I'm in a company where computer management, especially CAD, doesn't exist. and I have no access to my PC

But thank you for your answer

Pc on a network protected from the outside world, but not from itself :sweat_smile:.

I have so many bugs, crashes, slowdowns, since I work for this company, that I had to review everything that was possible to have a problem with this software.
I'm tired of these problems, and of this IT management

What about VISIATIV support?

I'm on restricted PCs.
We have standardized PCs that give us different screams, depending on the day and their mood. :sweat_smile:
Distressing

Hello

Today I had a new mistake
Could you inquire about the error type sldworks:ffffffffff00000000

Thank you

Have you questioned VISIATIV support?
I don't know what a restricted PC is :thinking:

Hello,

The errors reported are errors of potential corrupted dlls.
All that's left to do is boot SW in safe mode to see if it works properly, otherwise an uninstall/reinstall wouldn't hurt I think.

@Le_Bidule
Restricted computers are computers that are disconnected from the Internet and the intranet.
These networks make it possible to work on sensitive projects and protect oneself from viruses or espionage, or to protect patents.
We are supposed to have stable computers, I say sensible. Because for the past two years I have seen a lot of beugs arrive as the project develops.

I know that updates are being made, but now I've reached a level of instability that is mind-blowing. In the morning everything works at noon everything fairs, same model, same plan

I'm starting to look seriously at errors and codes, but I can't log in or share the models I'm working on. Just give the error codes.

But for example: I have an extraordinary error message where SW asks me to choose the error :sweat_smile: code.

In two years I have summarized 20 years of beug :rofl:

@Cyril_f

How to boot SW in Safe Mode.

The problems also come from the modeling, from the limited capacity of the PCs (crazy thing in our time).

I changed my PC, reinstalled the software, now I see only one thing: the underlayers, which alone can answer half of the errors and bugs.

But I'm going to watch the boot in safe mode, I want the procedure.

With Solidworks Rx. It's a bit of a misnomer because it only handles the fact of starting without the customizations of the tool or to emulate OpenGL functions to check if there is a driver problem

Not wrong. At home, we went to 64GB of RAM and quite high clock speeds because with the security overlays it was becoming complicated. Then we also changed the processor range (from a Xeon architecture to an I7).

The sublayer is quite thick, before starting SW, I already have 3 page of task manager, software that I don't use are started, in short

The problem with the processor is mainly on the MEPs, I understand that it works with a heart (myth or truth?).
The good graphics engine (maybe a myth), it's an old blunderbuss, but I don't know anything about it.
Currently our configurations
13th GEN intel(R) Core ™ I9 - 13950HX
Heart 24
32 Logical Processors
32 GB RAM (on two Slots) SODIMM 4000mhz
Graphics card
NVIDIA RTX3500 Ada Generation Laptop GPU12Gb Graphics 128MB
Windows 64

The configuration doesn't seem detonating despite a lack of RAM, the graphics card I don't know.
Is it compatible with SW, I don't know.

The graphics card is only supposed to be compatible from 2026 (it doesn't mean it won't work but nothing guaranteed on an earlier version).

Otherwise on the 2022 memory you have to disable the improved graphics performance option

@Cyril_f

Otherwise on the 2022 memory you have to disable the improved graphics performance option

Is it ironic? :sweat_smile:
I'll test it
If I summarize, the graphics card is too young for the software :sweat_smile: :sweat_smile: version :sweat_smile:
Thank you

Yes, a little too recent for the 2022, but it's still the lottery, it can still work. It's just that SW doesn't bother testing and certifying on older versions.
And no, it's not ironic, the functions of SW's masterminds are not always adapted and make a mess of SW's operation rather than improve it (this option is the perfect example on versions lower than the 2023 from memory).
