Costing on multibody

Hello

I have a problem with SW's "Costing" utility.

On multibody parts (mechanically welded), the utility cannot find the model subfiles.

He finds the basic model "multibodytemplate_default(Metric)" but not the "sheetmetaltemplate_default(Metric)" and "Machinigtemplate_default(Metric)".

Which is weird because on unibody parts it finds these 2 files without any problem. In addition, I checked that these files exist in the folder.

Kind regards

Gabriel

Hello

See this link:

http://www.solidsolutions.tv/Solidworks-Webcast-Wednesday/Videos/SolidWorks-Costing-Tool.aspx

A priori it was not possible with the old versions, but with the 2013 version, it is possible to perform "costing" on an assembly too:

Hello

No, on the contrary, if you are in MultiCoprs, the sheetmetal and Machining templates are automatically chosen and you must specify the type of body above in the list of bodies. If it is sheet metal it will be recognized automatically, for the others it must be specified manually.

See image.

This is precisely the problem I have, the sheetmetal and Machining templates are not found, and I don't have the possibility to select bodies, the list of the utility remains empty while the part contains 2 sheet metal bodies in the "list of welded parts" folder.

See attached image.

Re

By clicking on "Launch Template Editor" you can't give back the paths?

And if you click on your bodies, what is it?

By giving back the paths in the editor, he has remade the right link.

Thank you for your help.
