Rating in MEP

Hello @ all and  @ All  and @u Santa Claus

I don't often do MEP and I don't understand why some dimensions are not carried over from the model to the MEP.

Normally I should be able to recover all the dimensions of the sketches or circular repetitions when there are none and there rusk he doesn't give them all to me.

In the room all the sketches are complete and dimensioned completely.

Before I never used the piercing assistant (does it come from there???? ) Indeed I first draw a sketch (A) and there leaves it visible, then I do the tapping with the drilling assistant but to wedge the holes with the 3D sketch I place the holes on the points of the sketch (A°). Whether I place the holes one by one or use the angular repeat, it's the same, he doesn't put the dimensions on me.

Brief! I don't want to re-grade all the holes.

I can't add axes or construction lines to dimension them angularly. Normally I should be able to add construction lines in the MEP and dimension them in the MEP

I can't post the MEP on the forum but if someone at SW 2019 I can send it to them by email.

Kind regards

Note that I hate the piercing wizard and it is a damn nutty quote (I must be using it badly).

Hello @Zozo_mp ,

Appalling import of Cote from the model it is feasible in automatic quotation:

  • By marking the coast for drawing.
  • In DiExpert.
  • Mbd
  • ....

Importing the sketch dimensions seems to me not the appropriate method, I think that the visibility of the sketches poses ambiguities,

For the drilling I don't have a solution, maybe with a table but it won't be practical for circular layout,

In my experience, on several CAD software, the import of model dimensions, although sold as magic by publishers, never works satisfactorily; It is certainly quite possible that I lack training on this point.

In general, there must be a coincidence between the view in which the feature was created and the drawing view, SW additionally adds a notion of "annotation view".

In principle I reserve 3D sketches for radial drilling: SW recognizes that it is a cylindrical face (in general) and avoids having to create a tangent plane on which to position the hole.

In short, I'm afraid you have to re-rate the holes.

Good luck
