Hello everyone,
I have the student version of SolidWorks 2016 and when I try to dimension a line, the dimension tool does not show up (the window yes but not the dimension symbols).
I am sending you an attachment to illustrate the problem.
Kind regards
Stone.

Hello
Can you post your piece or the problem arises? Is the problem on any screw parts???
You have to go to tools==>options==>sketch and then check enable numeric input on the screen when creating entities and then it should work.

Hello
I checked the box but my problem is not solved.
I attached a sketch that I tried to dimension but that I don't see displayed...
The file is in SolidWorks 2018 but I can also do it in 2016 if necessary.
Kind regards
Stone

Hello
Here is the sketch in 2016
I put a square with only one rib in it.
Kind regards

Hello
For me and on your piece, everything is displayed as it should be on SW2017:
Is the "Show sketch dimensions" option checked?
Kind regards
Hello
Yes, I do have the option enabled, but I don't have this problem alone. SolidWorks won't let me quote another decree afterwards.
I think my PC is just not compatible with SolidWorks at all.
Here is my configuration:
Vostro 3578 Laptop:
i5 8250U
8GB RAM
AMD radeon 520 2GB
256GB SSD
WIndows 10 Pro 64Bits
I'm closing the subject because I'm in a bit of a hurry now and I've switched to Fusion 360. (which works perfectly)
Thank you for your answers.
Kind regards
Stone.
