Cotation percages

Hello and best wishes for 2014,

1- Is there an option under sw to avoid in a mep that the drill dimensions duplicate on several frames?

or another manipulation that I miss every time and that forces me to clean the plan.

When I insert the objects of the template, I have the option "eliminate duplicates" to check. This works except for holes and grooves where the sides appear as many times as the hole is visible (e.g.  for a through-hole drill: front and rear view).

2- Is it possible to avoid inserting the pre-hole dimension for a tap?

Hello

1-In the options, tab "Drawing", is the first option checked "Eliminate duplicate model dimensions during insertion"

2- It is possible to customize the texts that appear when using the symbols for drilling. This is the "calloutformat.txt" file that is located in the folder specified in the Document Locations/Symbol Format Definition File for Drilling.

1- Yes, this option is checked.

2- Thank you.

Hello

1) Indeed it is a bug that is listed on the SolidWorks Knowledge Base, SPR #: 388410:

https://customerportal.solidworks.com/eservice_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=InvokeMethod&SWEMethod=GotoRecord&SWEService=SWGotoRecord&ViewName=SW+All+Defects+List+customerportal+-+Search&BusObject=Product+Defect&BusComp=Product+Defect&Id=1-9FZYFL&SRN=

It is marked as  "Status: Closed (Inactive)" !

Anyone know how to re-open an SPR?

2) A video for more details on the calloutformat: http://vimeo.com/686269

For point 2, I have this custom version of calloutformat.txt. To be tested...

And this Excel file to find your way around the txt...

If I had known, I would have divided the question into 2 separately...

Thanks to Lucas Prieur for part 1 and the video for part 2.

And to benoit.if for the 2 several times.

In addition, by modifying the "calloutformat.txt" file, it solves the 2 problems.

I no longer have a drill rating on multiple views, and the text is the one I choose.

Thank you again.
