Do you think it is possible to rate a part by filling in the fields of a form? I have a sheet metal part that comes up often, but it never has 2 times the same dimension. I'm not going to make a configuration or a family of parts otherwise I won't finish. I was wondering if by any means it would be possible in SW 2019 standard, without add-ons , to tinker with a form, where it would be enough to enter the dimensions you want. To these odds, you have to add tenths of play, which change according to what is next to this piece. (yes I know it's complicated), and that automatically. Currently, we take the dimensions where the sheet metal will go on the assembly, we look at which thing goes next to it and we add the clearances accordingly... very chi.... t!! this several times by assembly.... To simplify all this I'm looking for a way, an excellent form but how to display it in 3D?, plus I don't know anything about programming....
Am I dreaming or is it possible? Anyone here uses such a system?
Here's a top-down screenshot. The odds that change are the 2 at 83.4 (now they are all at 83.4, because it's the minimum possible). depending on whether there are counter folds on each side or not, it's not the same game, so not the same value to add to the odds of 83.4
See if that's what you want to have. You have to go to the custom properties to change the dimensions and if you double click on the sketch you will see what the letters correspond to. Completed in 2016. The problem is that if you change one part in the assembly, the others will follow if you don't confirm or rename the part with a different name.
Indeed I hadn't thought, it's a good base, now it's up to me to create the equations so that the games add themselves to the dimension measured in the assembly.
Yes I have driveworks xpress, but strangely I don't have it on my computer, I thought it was provided with the "pro" p-version of SW.... It's not that I don't want to use adds-ons absolutely, but we won't have the budget to acquire an extension that would only be "comfort".
