Hi all
Is there a solution to change the color of the hidden edges in the drawing?
Without going through: system options/Colors then Drawing, hidden edges of the model, because I know this manip' that will change the color on all my drawings.
The idea would be to change the color on some views just for the understanding of the plan.
Thank you
Hello
I don't think that's possible. You can assign a layer for all the line fonts for a given view, but you can't separate the different line types.
Hello
It can be long depending on the complexity but there is still the option to change the color by selecting the edges and then using the line color command,
<maybe someone will manage to select them via API>
Otherwise do the opposite, change the system option, then select all the views not concerned and use "component font"
Yes, not stupid at all, even if the easiest thing would be to change the color of the hidden edges once and for all. This will have to be validated by the entire design office
I think there's a small option missing on the document properties side.
Yes you can change the default color of the hidden edges, (in red for example) but it only works if the part is not on a layer, other than default, which will force it to color all the lines. But it will affect all the pieces, unless you create a layer that forces the color black.
I just tried, but changing the layer on one view affects all the views in the shot.
In the Font window, the All Views option is Pre-selected😉
Yes, not wrong
