Zero-thickness curvature

Hello

Here I would like to do some simulation but he can't find the bodies, he tells me "curvature/line with zero thickness. How can we solve this?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Hello

A priori you do FlowSimulation or FlowSimulation Xpress.

So you have to start by physically blocking your outlets-inlets on your tubes.

Then I have trouble seeing on the picture the problem but maybe a clog will be enough?

Thanks for the idea but no I just tried to plug with a 1mm extrusion but still the same error message

Hello

Ok can you make an image in another direction and also an image of the creation tree.

Is it possible to see a screen print of the complete room in wireframe

or make cuts to examine the thicknesses

Is it a part created in solidworks?

Yes it's a part created with solidworks

Is the bottom also clogged?

There are 4 bodies? Shouldn't we join them?

Be careful, there is a surface body, it is the one that must be the problem, so either remove it or exclude it from the analysis...

Why not be directly in volume?

otherwise the inlet tube has been thickened, but the connection with the main body should create an edge only.

Everything was done in surface, it's the only solution to have a cut like we do in reality.

Everything is blocked. The water comes in from above and comes out through the tube.

I will be in your place in view of the parts

I will rebuild the room in volume

with the shell function at the end since it's apparently the same thickness

and the last extrusion to finish the part

or else the other way around, do everything in surface and thicken at the end.

The part is in volume (4 volume bodies exactly) but there is a surface in the file and I think it is what creates the error in FlowSimulation.

Re

If you are in 2014 push me the file I can look directly at it and you send it back, otherwise I look and tell you what seems bad to me.

Is there a way to have a cross-sectional view passing through the axis of the tube?

I have surrounded the curvature that is problematic

By making all the surfaces and thickening at the end there is no more edge PB.

Uh, if you're not in 2013, here's an overview.

Thank you all for answering, I made +1 to all your answers.

Have a nice day

Yes, on your image we can clearly see that there is a "hole" so the solution of @opiep27 to eapissir at the end will correct the problem.
