Harness creation with Electrical?

Hello

I would like to know if users use Electrical for the design of electrical harnesses? In my job I design harnesses in 3D environments (vehicles, buildings). Currently I use 3D sketches with sweep extrusions of my cable section and I also add connectors, contacts, protective sheath it is long and tedious. Then, from the lengths of my 3D sketches, I make a 2D plan with the lengths to provide the manufacturer with a flat beam allowing him to make his nail board for the manufacture of the bundle.

Could Electrical carry out flat beam repairs in automatic with nomenclature to allow them to be manufactured?

Kind regards

Hello

I don't use SW Electrical, but just routing, built into SW Premium. And I can draw the type of beams represented in your image very well. For nail board flattening it's a little trickier, but quite achievable.

Keep'On!
