Creating a part in a set and then constraining it

Hi all!

I worked on solidworks and catia and now I am forced to work under Inventor. There are similarities especially with solidworks but hey.

Here is my question:

I want to create a new part in an assembly (no problem to find how to do it), I select a face or I create a new plane. I edit my sketch (I project the geometry of the diameter of a tube of my set to which I want to create a "ring" to go around this axis), I do my extrusion everything is fine. I want to make this "ring" enter the axis of my tube, so first make sure that they are concentric between them. I move my part and I go to constraint type plating I select the two axes and the error message . I tell myself that these are not the right constraints, so I go into cylindrical connection (the software automatically puts me in rigid) and the ... error message again!

HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS DAMN CONSTRAINT.

In addition, I want to know how to "update", "refresh", "update" my set when I move components freely.

Thank you for your help

Hello

You will find a tutorial HERE. There seems to be what you're looking for around 1min20.

Kind regards

Can the room move freely?
If so, won't there be a link (in the room) with the assembly? To be seen by editing the part without opening the assembly.

Hello thank you for your answers!!
