I'm on Solidworks Prenium 2016 x64 Edition SP 5.0.
I create a first closed sketch on a plane 1. The figure contains 4 sides.
I create a second closed sketch on a plane 2. The figure contains 5 sides.
Planes 1 and 2 are parallel.
I'd like to create a volume (full or shell) going through these two sketches.
At the top the screenshot of the sketches made.
At the bottom is the sketch of the desired volume.
I can't get what I want with the Bossing/Smoothed Base function, the volume created loses a face and/or the faces don't meet my expectations, for example:
I enclose my piece.
Could you tell me how I can achieve the desired volume?
You have to create your guide curves (represented in red on the "desired volume" image), in a 3d sketch, for example, and then select them one by one in your Bossing/Smoothed Base function (in the "guide curve" part).
