Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to record a dwg from solid of a set, and that each subset is blocked from registration? And if so, how do we do it?
Hello
If I understand correctly, you have 2 needs:
- Save a set in DWG: there, no problem, save as / dwg.
- Block every S/E: I don't see what you want to do
Hello;
I don't really understand the question either... (What do you mean by "blocked", locked or save as a DWG block?)
If you want to create different blocks from your subassemblies from a main assembly to a *.dwg, I don't think that's possible unless you save them independently, convert them to a block, and then rebuild a DWG with your subassemblies.
I'm not even sure that this can be done via a macro in Solidworks.
By the way, I'm not sure that Solidworks knows how to create blocks with save-as...
Kind regards.
Hello yes I wanted each part and set to be blocked, to avoid having dwgs completely wired. or avoid re-blocking each piece of the set independently.
I suspected that he doesn't really have any solutions, but hope makes us live ^^ thank you for your answers.
…
Wired!???
You're not talking about 2D drawings, but about dwg 3D exports?
It's not logical compared to the title.
I understand less and less.
Kind regards.

ON Block Translator: means blocking, not a sketch turned into a block

DWG from solid of a set
So an ASM transformed into DWG
that each subset be blocked from registration
So that all the constraints of the assembly are preserved
Question at three rubles and 2 kopeck
If we first transform ASM into . PART and then we transform it into DWG, wouldn't all the constituents be blocked?
On the other hand, hello update in case of modification of the original ASM
[MODE zozo burns a neuron /OFF]
Hello
I think @Zozo_mp actually burned a neuron for nothing .
In the time I've been using SW, I've never been able to do a DXF/DWG export other than a view, a face, an unfolded state or a MEP.
I have already had requests from customers or subcontractors wanting to have this type of file for their CAD software, but SW (to my knowledge) is not able to do so.
On the other hand, it opens DWG 3D files very well, customers have already provided me with some...
And to answer @Zozo_mp , yes this manip locks everything. The assembly is found in a multi-body piece and therefore entirely fixed. I do this very often for certain simplifications.
Good luck.
Hello
to export SW 3D to dwg 3D you have to go through a 3D exchange format such as x_t, step, iges, sat etc. A format that autocad is able to import.
I don't know of a direct export method.
Hello
I just changed the category to avoid misunderstandings.
