Creation of derived parts BOM

Hello

Is it possible to create a SOLIDWORKS BOM

from a room with derivative parts inside?

Thank you

Hello

It's a bill of materials on a part with several bodies or several parts in an assembly, if that's the case for me, I'd say that yes it must be possible.

If you want to get the BOM of the bodies of a part (bodies obtained by construction or by Insertion/Part), you must indicate that your part is a welded construction element (Insertion/Welded Construction/Welded Construction).

On the bodies folder which is now called "Welded Parts Lists", right-click "Update". Files will be created to group together the identical bodies. You can right-click "Properties" on each folder to fill in properties for each body.

In the drawing of your part, you will be able to insert a body schedule: Insertion/Tables/List of welded parts.

Hello

I'm not sure I understood correctly, but you can indeed display the list of welded parts for a part:

see if this page gives you a solution

@+ ;-)

I may not have been very clear,

in fact, we have a piece A which is made with 2 pieces B and C that we insert as parts

We would like to make a BOM on a solidworks draw with the reference and designation information of these B&C parts.

So you want to bring down properties of parts B and C, to body properties of part A?

If you agree to do it by hand, follow what I said in the first post.

Otherwise, right now, I'll dry up... I would say that you can't, unless you use a macro.
