Good evening everyone,


I regularly use automatic nomenclatures, and I would like to create a custom one (add rows and columns, create a title that will be automatically put by using either a property or the name of the ASM and put a logo)


Starting from a default nomenclature the changes are very limited, for example I can't merge the top boxes to put a title and the linked to a property. It seemed to me that you could open the bill of materials in excel via solidworks without having to export it?


In short, I can't do it. (I don't have epdm)

Without "third-party tools"

by selecting a BOM (nomenclature), in the top left corner, we have a very small rectangle with 2 triangles (zoom in if necessary).

Clicking on it displays a "Nomenclature title" field (free text box)

To add icon, with the basic functions, it won't be possible it seems to me. Except by dragging a "house icon" block to position in the right place.

Hello

You can start by inserting a standard bill of materials.

Then, you have to select a complete column by clicking on the corresponding letter.

A menu will appear and you have to click on the "column property" icon (see screenshot). From there, you can choose a column type and retrieve the property you want to appear.

Hi sbademis, indeed I hadn't thought of the mycad tools, I'll test.


Olivier, I found this box but you can't demerge it to integrate a property.


Ludo, yes I saw that for the columns, but it's more lines that I need. I think the mycad tools will come in handy.

Hello, a question, mycad tools are not only available with Axemble? We have contracts with Avenao, they are supposed to be able to give us the mycad tools?

What I have indicated allows you to put "a title" on a nomenclature,

and allows it to be linked to a property.

(see screenshot)

Why demerge it?

Unmerge because I want it to write "nomenclature" - Name of the product it will look for in the properties

no need to demerge,

you double click in the box to type the text "Nomenclature - "

then you click on the "Link property" icon and you choose the one you want (plan number, etc...)

And so for mycad, you absolutely need a maintenance contract? What does it matter who the dreamer is or is it that axemble?

Hello

I take advantage of this post to ask another question, I have to make a BOM of only the components that are tubes, so this is a minority in my ASM, but to make this BOM I have to select the 3/4 of my parts to exclude them from the BOM, there is no possibility to select  only the parts that interest me to include them in the nomenclature rather than selecting all the ones I want to exclude ?

Select the "tubes", then use "the famous right-click" in the void of the graphic area, and choose "reverse selection"

Hi Olivier, thank you for this tip that I have always seen but never used ;).

It does help, but can we say to take only the selected components into account in a nomenclature? Or is there no other solution than to exclude all the others?
