Create drop-down menus in draftsight

Hello

 

I'm looking to create new drop-down  menus with sub-menus?

So in "customize the interface" I created the menus: X-guard Axelent Grid / Conveying / Banding / Hooding / Retracting and Miscellaneous;

(-> see attached file)

When I "applied", these menus were created following the list of drop-down menus in my menu bar.

Now I would like to put elements such as: Grille250.dwg in the X-guard Axelent Grid menu so that this file can be inserted

directly into my plan!

Is it possible to do this kind of thing in draftsight and how do I do it?

In your screenshot, the menu is not already as you want it to be?

Have you already created the command to insert your drawing (or block)? If not, in "Customize - Order" right-click in the list of commands and choose "New Order". Give it a name ("command" by default), tell it what to do in the "Command String" box. In your case, it might be "_insert c:\grille250.dwg".

 

In the menu section, associate your menu with the order you just created.

 

And that's it.

NB: Under Ubuntu, there are surprises from time to time in the customization of the menus, in Windows it's OK.

yes in the "command string" area I can't write ... The zone is selected in blue and that's it?

Maybe you need DS Pro?
