Create a DxF at Origin 0 in the Solidworks Drawing

Hello everyone,

I would like to create a DxF and place it at the origin 0 of my drawing on solidworks. The goal is to reuse this DxF on the machine, hence the importance of the 0 origin.

I searched but I can't find a way to set my coin origin to "0". The consequence is that on my machine when I import my DxF, my part ends up anywhere.

If you have any leads or the solution, I'm all for it.

Thank you very much

How is dxf created:
- from a drawing
- directly from the room?
Otherwise you can maybe try to rework the DXF afterwards (see 2d software).

Hello

Creating a DXF or DWG is the same except the size of the DXF file is larger...

As for the point 0, this position is to be retouched directly on autocad or SW's drafSight, by creating a block from the 2d is moving it to the zero point of your choice in the sketch created dxf or dwg preferably dwg for me (@0; 0; 0).

Directly from the part I have never tried but theoretically it is always from the sw origin that we draw the first sketch of the 3d of the part so it always keeps this point theoretically.

Kind regards.

Thank you for your answers.

The easiest way for me is to start from 3D with my origin 0 in the desired place beforehand.
