Create an Excel or CSV file from autocad

Hello

Is it possible to create an Excel or CSV file of a set of points with X, Y and Z coordinates from Autocad?

I hope I have been clear in my request

thank you in advance for your answers

Xavier

Several possibilities, depending on the number of stitches and the repetitiveness of the task:

- a macro

- select the points, use the list command, copy and paste

Hello

There's the "_dataextraction" feature that allows you to do this and much more:

- "Insert" tab, "Linking and extraction" group, "Extract data" button,

- Page 1 : Radio button "Create a new data extraction", "Next >",

- You save the "DXE" template file (I don't really know what it's for),

- Page 2 : You have the choice between 2 options :

- Either you leave "Drawings/set of sheets" checked, but I advise you to have only your drawing open,

- Either you check the radio button "Select objects in the active drawing", then click on the button at the end of the line to select your points,

- "Next >",

- Page 3 : You check the boxes of the objects you are interested in (not necessarily just the points), "Following >",

- Page 4 : You uncheck the "Drawing", "General" and "3D Visualization" boxes in the right frame (filtering), then you check the X, Y and Z positions on the left, "Next >",

- Page 5 : (not tested) "Next >",

- Page 6 : You check the box "Output data to an external file (.xls .csv .mbd .txt)", then you click on the "..." button to give the file path, "Next >",

- Page 8 : "End"

The function allows you to go even further by studying it more closely !

There you go.

thank you for your answer,

I'll see later if my CSV file is usable for what I need.

I've known this manipe for a short time to do measurements on autocad,

For your information, on page 5 you have to uncheck all for the quantities because if you have two polylines of the same length it will only count one during the calculation

thank you for your answer
