Create a group or object in a sketch in creo 2

Hello

I still rely on the knowledge of the community.

I'm currently creating a piece in créo 2 with a repetition driven by a table, it's a bit complex with smoothing and the repetition is on a sphere.

The problem is that my sketches move in repetition and create reconstruction errors.

No matter how much I constrain my sketches by different means (constraints, ref,...), there is always one that changes.

So I wanted to know if, like in autocad or solidworks, it was possible to create blocks or groups to freeze my sketches and prevent them from moving during rehearsal.

Thank you again for your help.

Hello

What does that mean? the sketch distorts in other points of repetition?

Indeed, it is a repetition of a group of functions (planes, sketches, smoothing, rounding, extrusions).

The repetition creates so many new functions and the sketches created do not correspond to the initial sketch, it is either inverted (upside down) or arcs change and distort the sketch, strokes move.

I tried to constrain my sketch in different ways, lock the dimensions and geometry, change my references, change the dimension, but nothing helped.

That's why I wanted to create a block or an object to make sure that the geometry of my sketch didn't change.

For your information, by dint of trying, I managed to create my piece but it's more a matter of luck than mastery of the software.

So for the future, is it possible to create blocks in creo in order to permanently freeze a sketch?

Thank you again. Have a good weekend.

PS: I couldn't make a screen print of the problem due to confidentiality (product developed, manufactured and used only by my client).

Personally, I avoid group rehearsals because I've always encountered this kind of problem. So I do the repetitions function by function or I use the geometry repetition:

This function repeats only the geometric shape and not the linked references

Ok I'll try the geometry repeat next time.

Thank you.
