SolidWorks does not work like Autocad and its templates.
Instead, the logic is based on a Blueprint document template that includes all the properties committed in the Option/Properties tab of the document.
This template has no dimensions, it is an unlimited sheet.
On this template, you will place a background plan adapted to your sheet format and on which will appear a frame and a title block. The title is to be made for each format, from A4 to A0.
It's quick to do once a first cartridge is made.

Beware of the classic trap: the wrong position of the absolute 0.0 in the MEP!!
Putting it on well from the start, allows you to change the size of the shot after the fact, without the views moving outside the shot afterwards.

When creating the model you also have to think about configuring the printing parameters (A4 portrait, A3 landscape ....) because otherwise you often end up with weird things when printing :-(
