Create a solidworks toolbar

Hello

I would like to create a toolbar on solidworks in order to export it to other pcs and other SolidWorks! Is this possible?

Thank you for your help:)

Hello

It is possible to customize a toolbar but it is not possible to  export it on its own. You have to save all the settings to be able to share them. for that you have to go to Tools==>Save/restore settings

Hello

The easiest way is to use my tutorial to reset the SOlidWorks settings:

http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/reinitialiser-les-parametres-solidworks

Then modify only the toolbar you want, and export this using the utility:

http://help.solidworks.com/2015/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_copy_settings_wizard.htm

By checking only the "toolbar customisation" box:

http://blogs.solidworks.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/Copy-Settings-Restore.png

This way, only the toolbars will be backed up?

You have to test to be sure, but yes I think so.

But before installing the settings on a PC, you can copy the settings from that PC with the wizard, so you can be sure that you can go back.

The problem is that each operator has his toolbars and I'm afraid that it will change all the bars and configure them like mine. I was thinking more of importing just a toolbar from station to station.

Thank you for your answers:)

Alternatively, one can customize an order manager tab for each user.

do on each position of course.

It was precisely to avoid this repetitive task!

I think you will have no choice, as I told you. It is not possible to export a toolbar on its own. Or all the settings or modify and or create the bar on each station...

That's why I said that you can save the settings BEFORE, so you're sure to see them back.
