I'm trying to make an equation to get the mass of a subset except one part

how to write: ="SW-Mass"-"SW-Mass@piece A.SLDPRT" and that Solidworks does not err

Otherwise, if your subset still has a zero weight you can assign a zero mass in the mass options:

I kept looking for it on my own and I managed to do that

create an equation in room A with its mass

then in the assembly by double-clicking in the tree to catch my mass A

Otherwise you can click on the part of the sub-assembly and go to the properties of the compromising then envelope and there you will have the weight of the sub-assembly without the chosen part ...

The goal is not just to check the moving mass on the screen but to then make it appear automatically in an annotation in the drawing

Ok but in your equation " ="SW-Mass"-"SW-Mass@piece A.SLDPRT" " you don't have the name of the assembly when you go to the assembly properties, what's the name of the mass property ("SW-Mass@@Défaut@c1-s01-vul201628_asm. SLDASM" for the one I have on screen)... and if you do that, all your assemblies as well as the parts must have the same name because otherwise it won't make the connection...

yes I didn't explain the next step which is to take "moving mass" in the properties of my assembly to retrieve it in a drawing note
