Create a 3D view in solidworks drawing in pdf

Hello

I received today, from a supplier, a definition plan in pdf (I don't know which software he uses)

This plan contains a 3d pdf type iso view, you can zoom, turn, make a cut...

I find it really interesting and would like to do the same on my plans.

Is it possible to do the same thing with Solidworks?

Kind regards

Ronan

yes you have to save as and pdf3d format but it's the 3D and not the plan that you have to save

I know how to do it from 3d,

But now I want to have my 2d plan with my different and on the same page an iso view like pdf3d

a ok so maybe you need to have  Adobe Acrobat Pro

I confirm,  having tested acrobat X, I can tell you that it is possible via this software to make pdfs containing 3d pdfs.

Kind of flip book. You save your blank or non-empty drawing as a pdf, then you modify your pdf with Adobe Acrobat to add your 3D pdf to it.

Here is an example of an "cao.fr" attachment.

If I'm not mistaken, with Acrobat reader 9 it should work

@+-))

Acrobat reader is just a viewer, isn't it?

Adobe Acrobat X is the basis of the software.

Hello

The pdf 3d part is no longer in accrobat (sold to Tetra4D)

Ideally, you should buy the Enrichment suite included:

acrobat Pro

Animat (animation, editing, dismantling, splitting)

Compare (model comparison)

Publish (creation of a notice configurator).

There are trial versions (1 month) click HERE there is a France Antea reseller.

Kind regards

Thanks for the info,

At the time, I stopped at Acrobat X Pro, I was able to do some nice things.

I'll try this, thank you =)

@bart yes the pro acrobat version does it

But if I understand we have to insert a file in U3D edition 3 or PRC format in a pdf page, so not directly the pdf3D generated by solidworks

well on the X pro version it works, I can insert a 3D multimedia object

Here is a test with a fashionable product;)

done with proX and read with reader

Ok so it's not possible directly from the CAD

or at least not from SW

Thank you
