Do you know how to unfold this tank?

If so, thank you

David

Good evening

If I'm not mistaken, there's only one curved part in your tank that remains very simple,

It depends on your modeling software (spaiceclaim right?), but there would be no problems in a "solidworks".

I can also "help" you if you wish.

Hi @ David

see this tutorial it's a unfold of a series of elbows

the rest are straight parts, just make cuts to the right of the parts

Good evening

I agree with thomas.guillard and gt22, there is only the curved part to be done in unfolded because your supplier for the realization will make the other parts in cut according to your Drawing.

I don't know your Space Claim software, but like all the software, it's pretty much the same in how they work. So it will be quite easy, I think, I use Solidworks and it is simple to achieve.

Good luck A+

Hello

Being a boilermaker by trade, your tank is impossible to do in one go, so the easiest way is to work by folding and rolling sub-assembly.

You have to take into account the dimensions of this tank

a good drawing with a few details specified, your supplier will have to without going out

I managed to break the bowl into 4 parts and unfold each element separately.

Thank you for your comments
