I can't open the attached file because I'm on SW 2020, but if I understand your request, you've drawn your handle with a revolution and all that's missing is the tab.
You have posted thumbnails, it's difficult to see the details of the object so I post 2 cases according to the profile of the tab; parallel/non-parallel.
If the edges of the tongue are not parallel, it is also possible and simpler to do it directly with one revolution:
If the edges are parallel, then yes it is possible to use this " extrusion " method, except for a few details:

Unfortunately no, " retro saving " is only possible since the 2024 and only towards 2 versions back (2023 and 2022).
