In Solidworks how to avoid rebuilding an assembly with the toolbox source files

Hello

I created gears in SolidWorks with the ToolBox
Then I modified them by applying fillets on the flat faces, and then saved them in separate files, all placed in a specific folder.
When I do my assembly by calling these modified separate files I save it and then open it,
He opens it to me rebuilt with the source files not modified.

How do I keep it in my assembly with my modified gears that are placed in a specific folder.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hello

Search for SLDSetDocProp on Google. It's a utility vehicle that's made for that. Freeware. You will also  find tutorials.

This allows you to customize the files imported from the toolbox. They must first be saved in the project directory. Do not attempt to overwrite the original file. It is write-protected.

Finally, I rebuilt my gears by making an interval sketch of a tooth of the right module that I repeat according to the number of teeth desired and knowing my different diameters thanks to the online gear calculation app at this link https://www.toutcalculer.com/mecanique/dimensions-engrenage.php#calcul

We get out of it quite easily!!

Nevertheless, I will load your utility and try it out.
