In Solidworks selecting by color

About Solidworks 2015

In a 2D file from a DXF, how can we select the entities by color to avoid selecting them one by one.

THANK YOU

I'm not sure you can.

What is the end goal? Maybe we can point you to another solution

On a DXF wide plan, I have a piece of one color, another of a different color and I would like to put the first part on one layer and the other on another layer.

Hello

Do you want to make a selection filter then?

If yes, press the F5 key and the filter icons will appear

[edit] There is also the smart selection utility that could match your request: http://help.solidworks.com/2014/french/SolidWorks/swutilities/r_power_select_filters_and_parameters.htm

I don't think that the intelligent selection is available in plan, moreover I think that it only works on geometry, but I may be wrong:)

Hello

Have you thought about playing with your layers? You can ectivate or deactivate layers to leave only the pieces in red for example.

may the force be with you.

It's all in the same layer and smart selection, we can't select by color, which is a shame.

I simply think that we can't do it in Solidworks, unlike Catia, which is also the Dassaud system.

Yes damage because it's also possible on Topsolid.
