Hello
A tutor showed me a particular feature on Catia: the Blur Surface Offset.
He asked me if anything similar existed on SolidWorks.
We do have Offset Surface , but nothing that could make this offset surface "blurry" to my knowledge.
Does anyone know a little more about this?

Hi Alain,
Changing the transparency of the offset surface wouldn't be suitable?

Hi Alain, nothing similar exists on SolidWorks as far as I know!

Hi Alain,
When you write "a deviation of 13 mm", i.e. that the surface is smoother compared to the original one?

Maybe a solution, by making an offset, then using this technique:
http://www.caddedge.com/blog/a-quick-solidworks-surfacing-tip
Or the Smooth Surface tool:
http://help.solidworks.com/2013/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/t_Lofted_Surface.htm
But it will have to be done in 2 steps, indeed!

@glaffont: No, it's not the transparency that is important but the creation of an offset surface with a certain smoothing.
@Aurélien Fives: That's right, there is an offset + a kind of smoothing that can be set with this value (13mm in the example)
@.PL: I do believe that there is no direct solution indeed; or no solution at all

Hello, this CATIA V5 command requires the Shape Scultor workshop (which I don't have).
It's a module for reworking meshes
I put you the help of Catia who describes the order.
Maybe you have an equivalent in Scan to 3D?

Thank you for the doc @Franck
This is the function but it doesn't exist on SolidWorks I think.
I don't know enough about solidworks and not at all about the Scan to 3D complement, if there is an equivalence, it will probably be in this type of utility made to work on STL meshes .
