Hello,
I want to make a cut of my sheet metal, I created a sketch but it doesn't work.
I want to separate a frame into 4 parts.
Is this a problem since after that it will not be 1 single piece of sheet metal but 4?

Hello
It seems to me that we should use the "split rooms" function.
Hello
I don't really understand when you say "it won't be 1 single piece of sheet metal but 4"
OR it means that you see something that looks like profiles with corner cutouts a bit like in the image I'm attaching. In which case, yes, it is possible, but for it to be beautiful , the profiles would have to be straight and make the corner cut with a corner saw.
Otherwise you won't have the joined edges and it will be ugly
Kind regards
The cut shown is the one I am trying to do, it is laser/bending that I will do this will be welded entirely in the corners afterwards.
Hello
I don't understand why, it doesn't work for having done it. In general , when you extrude at the four corners after drawing the sketch, the software asks if you want to keep "all the bodies or not".
Agree with ZOZO
I opened a ticket and got confirmation that it was indeed splitting in my case that should be used.
Except that when I tried to split my piece I only made one line on my piece when I should have done 2.
Thank you
Terry
