Hello
I'm looking for someone who would be kind enough to take a few moments to explain to me by video the main features of the simulation part of Solidworks (possibly starting with a simple example).
Excellent day,
Frédéric
Hello

Hello;
You can start by getting an idea of the Simulation tools with the tutorials offered in Solidworks:
I think it is also necessary to specify the Version of Solidworks and the simulation add-on that you intend to use...
Hello Maclane,
Thank you for your feedback.
I actually watched the tutorials and even did some tests.
However, I do not know how to reproduce, on a specific case of my assemblage, the elements that I think I have understood.
The goal of coming to a community is to find someone who has enough experience (and benevolence) to see a case with me and give me the main lines of the reflection.
Excellent day,
Frédéric
Hello @fbrand1
The simplest thing to do is to present your case so that we can help you move forward. In general, the community responds according to these availabilities and it's not always compatible with a video
And good luck with Simulation
Hello
Thank you for your message.
I was considering screen sharing to optimize the approach.
It is very difficult to express my question in a few sentences.
I will continue my research
In any case, thank you for taking the time to answer me.
Excellent afternoon.
Frédéric
A little advice: to approach a simulation you have to think carefully about the assumptions.
Some examples are given here (among all the Simulation modes):
https://www.javelin-tech.com/blog/?s=simulation
https://www.goengineer.com/blog?searchText=simulation&submit=blog
Your problem is that you want to do it on an assembly and not a part, right?
Hello and welcome
Yes, but by posting it in a message on the forum you will reach more experienced people who are likely to provide you with solutions, and as a bonus more people in the same situation will be able to benefit from their answers.
Hello
That's exactly it, but I found a solution.
Excellent day,
Frédéric
If you've found a solution that you don't give to a question you don't ask, then you're fine.
Hello Sylk,
In fact, the solution will not interest anyone since it consists of doing a tailor-made training to answer my question, which is vast and complex to explain.
I thank the people who took the time to read my message to try to help me.
Excellent day,
Frédéric
