Unfolded DXF as a separate file

Hello

I have a problem when I want to record a multibody part in DXF to lay flat and be able to cut with a plasma CNC afterwards. I convert my different bodies to sheet metal but when I record with DXF, I have several separate files but I only have one or two where you can see the contours. The others are empty and therefore unusable. I tried to modify the different DXF formats but nothing to do.

I'm attaching my piece to see if it does the same to you.

Hello

I do have four files after the DXF backup.

If I open the four files in succession, I find the four sides.

I can incorporate them into separate (MEP) planes where they look good. But obviously they do not appear in the same MEP.

So if your machine is normally able to do the sheet metal setting of the different separate DXFs, it must work.

I attach the different DXFs that I have obtained, tell me what you think.

Thank you for the help.

With your files I have the 4 DXFs with the corresponding profiles. I tried again on my side, I managed to get 3 but the 4th one is empty. I don't know if it's coming from my DXF file output formats or something else

Hello @ pthuillier

What version of Solidworks do you have?

You could take different screenshots of the times when you generate your DXFs. (it's to see the sequence at random)

A few silly ideas! is everything done in the same directory (source file and storage of DXF and are you on a single workstation or on a server (PDM or not, etc...)

I'm in 2019 SP3

I made you the copies in the ZIP folder

No, I save my DXFs in another folder because I arrange them by thickness and then I go to look for the directory with my cutting software.

I'm on a server but I'm all alone working on it.

I updated SP5 in 2019 but nothing to do, I still only have a few usable DXFs... I tried to play with formats or other things but without results. I'm going to continue to do piece by piece in drawing, too bad.

I found it, I changed the settings and it works perfectly now

I'll post my settings if it can be useful to someone in the future
