All you need is
via deformed tool
to make a rectilinear sketch at the starting point of your curved sketch
and you will have your straight tube

Hello
Another less restrictive solution it seems to me :-)
If you want to have the exact press, you have to transform the spline that you use for your sweep into a trajectory and you dimension your trajectory into a piloted dimension.
It would be interesting to see the difference in length according to one or the other method by the way :-) (isn't it gt22 ).
can you guide me for the procedure
Pull a straight line and make the deform
that's not what I define as binding

PS: for the press do a test and tell us
Hi ggdagjo
To guide you your request is addressed to GT22 or to me :-)

Hello guys,
What more can I say, OBI WAN has given the solutions I use. I prefer to do it this way because we bend our tubes ourselves and this way we have the positions of the fold lines. Simpler for the machine operator.
Hello
Can your spline be recreated with arcs and lines?
And in that case, why not use the mechanically welded functions when choosing a tube profile?
This will automatically give you the total length.
Kind regards

What do you think of the @jmsavoyat solution which should also allow you to give the fold line position.
@jmsavoyat On the other hand, the fact that these are welded parts does it make it difficult to integrate this into an assembly of ordinary parts. In fact, they are not welded parts but they are effective.
The jmsavoyat solution also works very well but it does not give the position of the fold lines because this function, if I am not mistaken, calculates the length of the sketch which is the neutral fiber of the part.
Me, to know the developed, I use the evaluate function and I click directly on my sketch.
