Ideas for innovation of a PLUG-IT

Hello
Yes, currently I am working on a project that my high school is organizing to participate in a competition. This competition is called PLUG-IT and focuses on the design of urban objects to be fixed to the ground thanks to the "plug" of Mécaloire...
Not having much of an idea;I would like to have some ideas from everyone.

I invite you to watch this video to understand how a "PLUG" works.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjtN5aZiGAg
The objects must be used for the following purpose:

  1. An object for an event that takes place outdoors,
  2. in urban areas,
  3. ephemeral
  4. festive
  5. friendly and generating social links (example: for a neighbourhood party).
  6. The objects to be plucked must be easily "pluguable" - "unpluggeable" and transportable by 2 adults.
  7. (maximum weight per element in case of assembled objects: 25 kg).

I'm waiting for your ideas... Even the most eccentric! Be inventive...
PS: for more information http://www.mecaloire.fr/

Thank you in advance.
Kind regards

Luka.

Hello

I will start with one or two ideas to start the debate:

A Disc-golf course in the city

A draft beer keg course in the city

If there are 2 plugs close enough to each other: a hammock

I would say that it's almost a challenge idea...

But a challenge of a challenge is complicated!

Re:
First of all, thank you for answering me. Yes indeed it is a big project for several departments. The establishment that has the best ideas will see its project carried out in one of the cities of France. (e.g. Saint-Étienne...).
S.B Thank you for your ideas.

Are the plugs connected to electric current or is it just a mechanical connection?

Hello

I'm also from Saint-Etienne and I didn't know the Plug at all... It's a nice concept.

On the other hand, I find it a shame in a creative challenge to go and ask for the help of others... the history of Sainté is rich enough to draw ideas in cycling (Manufrance), sport (ASSE), armament (MAS), design, etc.

Good luck!

@Tomalam: Is it just mechanical;)

Hello

I think there is also no angular orientation of the system, other than the pressure exerted on the axis.

@Tomalam, it's the idea of the weathervane, to kick the ass of the dog who comes to urinate against the post.
