Hello
The question is in the subject of this message.
I must have inadvertently enabled this checkbox
Even if I uncheck it before validating, the dimensions are reflected on the other views.
How to have this box NOT checked by default.
Kind regards
Same with me in 2023SP5.
I don't have a solution to provide
I just tested in 2023 SP5 the box is certainly checked by default, but if I uncheck it it imports the odds only in the selected view.
For SW 2020 impossible to test for me @Orval.
Which SP do you have from SW2020?
Hello
If someone explains to me how to get to this message, I can try to investigate my 2020sp5.
@sbadenis
I have the SW 2020 SP5
@Sylk
in a drawing, make annotation, Model Objects
the checkbox to be unchecked is under Source
@Sylk, you insert 3 views into a MEP and then insert the object of the model.
And the window appears!
Possibility for the unchecked credit is to modify a background plan or document template of the MEP.
On the other hand, I am not convinced that it works, and what surprises me is that it does not work
When you uncheck the import objects option, do you have to uncheck the ... Is there a blue box with the selection of destination views? I don't remember it on the 2020
Yes @Le_Bidule
I don't have to do things right, with me it doesn't matter anything in any view even the selected ones (added in the destinations box)...
So, first observation, for the " import in all views " box to be unchecked when opening the property, at least one view (the destination view ideally) must be selected in the mep. This view is automatically added to the list of destination views.
Second observation, when I manage to choose the coast I want, it imports it in the selected destination view only.
In the end, they do things well at DS! It's just us who are not at their level
I had the same thought (or almost); " There are still things that work properly in SolidWorks!"
@sbadenis
I think I must have saved the background plan with this box checked by mistake.
@Le_Bidule and @Sylk
When I uncheck I have the blue box to select the view to import the dimensions. It works
As said at the beginning of this message, the box to import cutters into all views was unchecked by default. I must have done a bad job.
Thank you all for your explanations
Kind regards
No , no@Orval you didn't make any mistakes or " checked" checks . As you can see in my video, the default checkmark is a normal and non-recordable behavior. It depends only on whether or not a view is selected before opening " model objects".
