Hello
I want to draw a tube in solidworks from
- XYZ correlations of the bending points*
- bending radius of the neutral fiber.
Is there a "curve going through XYZ" type option but dedicated to the tube?
Thank you

Draw your curve in a 3D sketch and use welded construction
See this tutorial

Then you just have to create the profile of your tube via a swipe

Thanks gt22, but this option allows you to make curves through points.
I'm looking for the equivalent for a curved tube (sequence of straight parts-bending radii) but I can't find it :-(
It's the routing module that allows you to do that, it seems to me. Problem: you have to have SW premium.
The MaD method gets around the problem.
Even with the grandpa girls you need the neutral fiber
and which of the points of connection and of course SW premium
so via the tutorial you have your XYZ refs so you create a curve if you have any right lines to you to recreate taken the rest
by removing part of the curve
Fillets can be made between segments of lines in 3D sketching
Hello
See if my tutorials to create tubes in unfolded version can be useful to you...

Hello
I take the liberty of reopening the subject because I have SW prenium but I don't know how to use the coordinate table to recreate the tube in 3D, or conversely, get the coordinates when I have a 3D.
Thank you for your help.
Hello
the best would be for you to create a new topic with the details that go well + image + SW version etc... anything that can help us best respond to your problem
Hello
We frequently make tubing.
We make a 3D sketch with the 3 dimensions corresponding to the 3 axes.
I'm sending you an example of a play in 2024.
Exemple_tubulure. SLDPRT (262.1 KB)
Exemple_tubulure. SLDDRW (419.4 KB)
… What does this " coordinate table" refer to?
Hello
I add an image of a tube where I either have the table on the left with the coordinates in space (X,Y,Z and the radius), which I would have to use to reconstruct the geometry of the tube, or conversely, I have a 3D of the tube and I need to retrieve the associated coordinates (especially to make a drawing).
I hope it will be clearer.
Thank you for your help.
Hello
I looked but it doesn't correspond to my needs because you have to be able to build the 3D from a blank sheet of paper with only the coordinates of the points, and then manage the diameter, the thickness and the bending radius.
