How can we proceed knowing that the unfolding function of the generative shape design module does not work in our case.

Hello, can you be more precise without the file, it's not easy.
Already on your screenshot we can see an extraction of the skin and then an unfolded function, the chamfer should not be taken into account.
A front withdrawal before making the extract could perhaps remove this first PB?

The name of your file is "mousse"?? Is it a foam piece?
The "unfolding" function does not work (several reasons the unfolding would require tear edges, the surface connections are not very clean).
