Discontinuity

Hello Community.

I have a small problem, I develop a fuselage and to draw it I use the surface tool.

I'm making a lot of progress but following bad thinking I come back to my surface part and I look to correct my mistakes, a lot of surface in duplicates because I managed to make solids.

On my fuselage I noticed a very annoying discontinuity that was created almost at the beginning of the drawing,

It is a wing and a turbine in it, I had simply made a restricted surface to remove the wingtips in the turbine, but the surface(s) were well joined at that time, following this function a discontinuity was created and I would like to know how to repair the error without erasing everything I have done so far See you now.

Here.

Good evening

Can you post images and the file because otherwise difficult to help you. Which version of SW do you have, not everyone has the same.

Kind regards

That's the problem long after.

and there is an overview

the first photo everything was well attached ...

In fact where I have trouble is sewing my surfaces, there is a process that I have to master badly but I don't really know you or I use SW 2018

Hello @pheonix and happy holiday

choosing to do surface rather than volume is an option not a simple +

You can use the shell function to transform a volume into a hollow body

How much surface area do you have

in surface if you see a blue line it means

that you have several surfaces

So before doing a restricted or removal try to sew the surface

you see the number of surfaces in your creation tree

I posted X Tuto on the subject

Thank you for your answer and happy holiday to you too:)

I have 32 surfaces and yes the surface is not simple but so much better I find when it comes to making shapes like this.

I'm posting the project so that you can see a little bit of the story.

The problem is that I can't sew my deafdaces as I would like.

When everything is in draft there is no discontinuity, when I start to restrict by if by there discontinuities appear where there were none, which prevents me from sewing and filling and therefore from making my shells ...

Do you have links on your tutorials please? I will be very interested :)
