Draft Sight / Fehler bei der Darstellung

Hello everyone
in my Draft Sight 2019 I constantly get an infinite number of strokes on the screen, which are then gone again when I zoom in. Very annoying if you want to insert parts with a connection point, for example.

See attached picture for details.

Has anyone had this before and could give me a tip on how to remove it again.

Hello, here is the beginning of the bot's response hoping that this solves your problem:

The problem you describe in DraftSight 2019, where an infinite number of strokes appear or disappear depending on zooming, can be caused by several common factors related to the display or geometry of the drawing. Here are the possible causes and their solutions :

:mag_right: 1. Very long strokes or objects very far from the origin

:white_check_mark: Symptoms:

  • Objects appear or disappear depending on the zoom.
  • The drawing may contain entities that are very far removed from the rest.

:white_check_mark: Solution:

  • Use the command Zoom -> Étendu (ZOOM E) to see if any out-of-scope objects appear.
  • Checks with SELECTALL then Propriétés or Liste to see if there are any distant or very large features.
  • Remove suspicious objects or recenter your drawing around the origin (0,0).

:abacus: 2. Problems with scale or line style

:white_check_mark: Symptoms:

  • Strokes (especially dotted lines) disappear at certain zoom levels.

:white_check_mark: Solution:

  • Checks the scale settings for the line types :
    • Command: LTSCALE (global scale of line types).
    • Command: PSLTSCALE (in presentations, to 0 or 1 depending on the desired behavior).
    • Try with it LTSCALE = 1 and see if the features reappear.
  • Update the line types: REGENALL.

:gear: 3. Display/graphics card performance issues

:white_check_mark: Symptoms:

  • Flashing, disappearing objects, slow zooming.

:white_check_mark: Solution:

  • Go to System > Options > Display.
  • Temporarily disables hardware acceleration to see if behavior changes.
  • Update your graphics card drivers.

:brick: 4. Drawing corruption or proxy objects

:white_check_mark: Symptoms:

  • Strange behavior, invisible entities.

:white_check_mark: Solution:

  • Uses the commands:
    • AUDIT to correct errors.
    • PURGE to clean up unnecessary features.
    • RECOVER if you open a potentially corrupted file.
