Hello
Drafsight user for 3 years I have never had any problems. Recently Draftsight doesn't want to start anymore.
Here is the error message:
Draftsight has stopped working... Close the program.
I reformatted the pc, I uninstalled draftsight and made a CCleaner (even hidden files), I tried to rename the data application. But without success at each attempt to install it starts again.
Has anyone ever had the case.
Thank you

Hello
What is the version of Windows? 32 Bits or 64?
What is the latest version of DraftSight that works?
Was there a change in the installation or program before the bug?
I have older versions of DraftSight available, if needed.
But if even a complete formatting of the PC didn't do anything, I'm afraid it's unsolvable!

Hello
This was the latest version of drafsight, under window 7 home premium 64 bt
I didn't do anything to modify the pc, but that started with not being able to open the files by the open menu, I had to open the file from the directory.
Thank you

A solution that worked for some:
Change graphics card options:
https://forum.solidworks.com/message/287328#287328
Or
Delete Folder:
"C:/Users/(username)/AppData/Roaming/Draftsight"

First of all, thank you for your speed, Wow...
Draftsight closes at startup at the beginning (2 days before) it only closed when I wanted to open the file.
I don't think I have had any network and printer changes.
But I have draftsight on my laptop and there it works fine.
For the format, it's my brother-in-law who did it, but from the pc, he didn't have a windows cd. Maybe there are still bugs somewhere.

Try to clean the registry with ccleaner.
I don't know if you've ever done it.

You can also try to create a new user with administrative rights and then install DraftSight under this new profile, choosing to install it for all users.

A solution to test:
Open the Nvidia Control Panel. Start>Control Panel>Nvidia Control Panel.
Select '3D Settings from the left column and select the 'Global Settings' from the right column Under 'Global Presets' choose Dassault Systems CATIA - Compatable Under 'Preferred Graphics Processor' choose 'High Performance NVIDIA Processor' Click 'Apply' Click the 'Program Settings' tab Next to 'Select a Program to Customize' click 'Add' Enter the path to the DraftSight.exe. (ie. C:\Program Files (x86)\Dassault Systèmes\DraftSight\bin\DraftSight.exe) Under 'Select the Preferred Graphics Processor' choose 'High Performance NVIDIA Processor' Click 'Apply'
