Hello
I have created 2 configurations in my room and I would like to control them in DriveWorks Express via MenuSelect configuration rule, when launching the form, I have a modification made to my model but the drawing is not followed and in error message in the 3D I have "impossible to find the configuration"
Thank you

While DriveWorks Xpress allows you to control the active configuration of a part or assembly, you must be careful with the use of this type of ruler.
A configuration in SOLIDWORKS allows (among other things) to remember the state of features and dimension values of a model.
In this way, switching from one configuration to another makes it possible to alternate different variants of the same model by "recalling" the values and states memorized.
By changing the configuration, SOLIDWORKS will CONTROL the functions and dimensions to bring them back to the memorized value.
There is therefore a risk of entrusting the control of the same dimension or the same function, both to DriveWorks Xpress and to SOLIDWORKS when controlling a model that includes configurations.
A good practice in this case is not to drive functions or dimensions that are already driven by the configurations (and to be very careful about what a configuration is driving).
That being said, DriveWorks Xpress does not drive the drawings. It will only be able to copy a drawing declared by SOLIDWORKS model (optional) and re-associate it with the variant created by DriveWorks.
If the original master model displayed the views of the active configuration at the time the plan was created, this configuration will remain remembered when the file is copied by DriveWorks Xpress.
The created drawing may therefore be different from the expected one since it will always display the initial configuration.
In this case, you have to be careful to change the configuration displayed in the drawing views (in the view properties: choose Use the template configuration in use or the last saved one).
But be careful: if you manually change the active configuration by saving this model, the drawing will then display the latter configuration...
If you see a message that the configuration is not finally found, then there is probably an error in the rule indicating which configuration to enable on that component.
The name of the configuration that DriveWorks Xpress is looking to activate probably does not match the original model EXACTLY (uppercase, lowercase, special characters, ...)
Hoping that these few leads help to find the solution...
Hello, thank you for your answer
